Learn more about how to live a healthier lifestyle at the Texas Tech Physicians Health Fair from 9 a.m. – noon October 14 at the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center (TTUHSC) Academic Classroom Building, 3601 Fourth St. first floor lobby.   Presentations by experts from Texas Tech Physicians will include the following:

Free blood pressure, BMI and glucose screenings will be provided along with health information from Texas Tech Physicians – Dermatology, Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Neurology, Ophthalmology, Orthopaedics, Pediatrics, Psychiatry, Surgery and Urology.

  The Center for Cardiovascular Health also will provide free ABI screenings, which are used to predict the severity of peripheral arterial disease, more commonly known as hardening of the arteries.
